Initially, when we received the proposal to start another series with the client, the main characteristics were that the episodes had to be produced quickly, with a quantity of 4 per month, meaning they had to be simple and fast to make. These requirements pushed us to streamline production while striving to maintain the quality of the final product.
So, we opted for a style of illustrations that were contrasting and captivating, abandoning the details of physiognomy and positioning the characters in an obscure environment, from where the name of the series "Frequently Asked Questions" came from.
We used the same approach for the animation part, trying to add depth, using solid colors and fixed transitions.
We managed to create a template that gave us the freedom to work on the visual effects from one episode to another, while staying up to date with the production.
